Our action for International Women’s Day, in collaboration with the “Odyssea” organization aimed at supporting women who belong to vulnerable social groups and exceeded all expectations!
Regency Casino Mont Parnes decided to celebrate Women’s Day in a different, interactive way! We made a 3D “W” (which symbolized the phrase Wonder Women) out of white cardboard, wanting to express our belief that women are the heroes of today!
We placed this structure at the entrance of our facilities and asked our visitors to write on the structure what gives them strength and helps them in their demanding everyday life.
For each visitor who wrote, we donated a symbolic amount to the non-profit organization “Odyssea” that concerns about the professional and advisory support of 20 women who belong to vulnerable groups, such as long-term unemployed, over 45 years old and unfamiliar with the new labor market requirements, immigrants and women raising their children alone (single parents).
These women will have the opportunity to carry out at least two professional counseling sessions, from which their CV will be created or improved. They will be provided with detailed preparation for the candidate interview and CV support will be carried out. At the same time they will receive information on how to search work through relevant online platforms.
The audience’s response exceeded all expectations and our once white structure, by the time the campaign was completed, was filled with colorful messages, messages of love, hope and strength! We read with emotion 2,555 responses (as many as the entries) and together we celebrated this important day in a meaningful way.
The support and cooperation with the “Odyssea” organization is one of the corporate social responsibility actions of the Regency Casino Entertainment Group, with the main goal that every action has measurable results and maximum benefits, for as many recipients as possible.
Regency Entertainment’s corporate culture is intertwined with its contribution and ongoing concern for the Environment, Society and Culture.
